A Day in Your Life at MKS: (Summary & Objectives)

As a Tax Manager at MKS, you will partner with the Global Tax Reporting team to manage all aspects of domestic income tax compliance, certain portions of the income tax provision, and sales and use tax review. You will also support in the execution of several tax planning initiatives. In this role, you will report to the Senior Manager, Global Tax Reporting.

You Will Make an Impact By:

• Manage and mentor senior tax analyst who will preparing of income tax calculations

• Prepare certain complex tax calculations

• Review federal and state income tax estimate and extension calculations

• Manage and review the day to day aspects of U.S. federal and state income tax compliance including working with outside service providers to timely file income tax returns

• Support special projects focused on process improvements and tax planning initiatives

• Support review of non-income tax filings such as those for sales and use tax and property tax

• Assist with tax audits and notices

• Perform research as required to ensure tax filing positions are accurate

Skills You Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting

• 6+ years of job-related work experience

• Strong proficiency in Excel

• Strong research and analytical skills

• This position is Hybrid (Tue, Wed, Thur, in office) and must be within drivable distance to our facility in Andover, MA.

Preferred Skills:

• Master’s degree

• CPA certification

• Experience in Onesource Tax Provision

• Reporting Relationships: Senior Tax Analyst will report to this position
