Job Description:

Primary Responsibilities

The Inventory Analyst I is responsible for all assigned tasks relating to inventory control, including maintaining inventory counts, researching discrepancies, and communicating inventory needs and status to Management.

Primary Duties:

  • Maintains inventory cycle count and physical inventory programs.

  • Counts and reconciles randomly chosen or chosen part numbers and locations daily.

  • Assists in developing solutions to shortages, overages, inventory discrepancies and damaged material.

  • Compiles, verifies and reports periodic statistical information to management regarding trends in customer escalations as related to inventory.

  • Assists in compiling data related to special projects, as requested by supervisor.

  • Ensures compliance with inventory processes and procedures and contractual obligations.

  • Other duties as required and assigned.

Requirements:

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED (General Education Diploma) equivalency

  • Minimum 1 to 3 months of related experience or training

  • Experience operating a standup forklift, cherry picker (order picker/high lift), reach trucks. Must be able to pass validation and certification on all equipment necessary to perform job duties.

  • PC literate with experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel

Essential Skills:

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

  • Ability to physically count articles or products on shelves, racks, and pallets.

Physical Demands

  • Standing for extended periods of time.

  • Prolonged periods of working on a computer and/or RF device

  • Repetitive motion.

  • Frequent required to climb or balance, bending, stooping, kneel/crouch, pushing, and pulling of material.

  • Frequent lifting up to 50 lbs – team lifts over 50 lbs.

  • Able to work in various temperature conditions.

Internal Qualifications

  • No final warnings

  • No more than 6 attendance points

  • Efficiency and Quality goals met for the previous 3 months.

  • Must be in current role for 6+ months.

  • Must meet all job description requirements.

Compensation: $18.00-$20.00/hour plus $1.00/hour shift differential
