CNC Lathe Machinist

Job Description

A sheet metal fabrication company in Anaheim, CA is seeking a CNC Lathe Machinist to set up and operate Multi Axis CNC Lathes. This role is for the 1st shift (6am-2:30pm) with 10-15 hours of overtime every week. Pay ranges from $20-$33 an hour based on experience. Training will be provided, but candidates should have either trade school education or 1-3 years of experience. Responsibilities include performing in-process inspections of machined parts using basic shop math and hand measurement tools, inspecting produced components against blueprints using standard inspection techniques, and loading and unloading parts in accordance with work holding methods as per setup. This position offers opportunities to advance into lead machinist roles and programming G and M codes.
