Our client, a leading food processing company, is seeking a Food Safety Quality Assurance Technician to join their team. As a Quality Assurance Technician, you will be part of the Quality Assurance department supporting the production team. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Food Safety Quality Assurance Technician- Swing Shift

Location: ANACORTES, WA

Pay Range: $20-$23 per hour

What's the Job?

  • Conduct standardized tests on products and materials to ensure compliance with internal standards, customer specifications, and international, federal, and state regulations.

  • Document data obtained during all quality assurance activities, consistent with HACCP standards and company policies and procedures.

  • Record test data such as weights, temperatures, moisture content, qualities, and quantities inspected or graded.

  • Audit production facility and review employee behavior for proper sanitation.

  • Communicate significant issues or developments identified during quality assurance activities and provide recommended process improvements to Production/QA Management.

What's Needed?

  • A minimum of 1 year experience in food processing.

  • HS Diploma or equivalent.

  • Ability to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms.

  • Ability to move objects regularly up to 10 pounds, frequently up to 25 pounds, and occasionally up to 50 pounds.

  • This position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship.
