About the Role…

As a Senior Supply Planner, you will be responsible for leading the Supply Planning process for Third Party Manufacturing (TPM) products. This will include significant involvement in the S&OP process, management of materials moving to and from TPM suppliers, overall inventory management including meeting internal KPI’s for inventory levels, and leading the production forecasting process for these partners.

The central element of planning is to define a Sales & Operation Plan together with our colleagues from Sales. This is balancing demand and supply including inventory planning based on the demand which is converted into a linger-term supply plan and detailed schedule.

The Plan & Deliver Team is comprised of individuals who bring a wide breadth of knowledge and experience to ensure we have the right materials, at the right time to support our customers. This includes the movement of raw materials, forecasting our finished goods needs and movement of goods between warehouses. When customers place their orders, our team ensures the items are delivered on time, in full and per the customers specifications – making high quality, safe, and nutritious foods for babies and toddlers!

About the Work Environment…

This position is located at the Amsterdam, New York LEED® certified production facility. Most job functions are performed in a well-lit, environmentally controlled office environment. The candidate will also be required to work in an environment that requires a hairnet, beard cover, safety glasses, hearing protection and lab coat. Restrictions include wearing of jewelry, nail polish and acrylic nails. Other personal protection equipment may be required for certain tasks.

What You’ll Do…

  • Contribute to Senior Supply Chain leadership by recommending the most appropriate levers in supply chain planning to best meet key objectives and strategic goals

  • Translate Demand Forecasts into short, mid, and long buy plans to ensure required capacity is met throughout our TPM network. This will include the development of a high-level rough cut capacity plan for supplier and hub collaboration.

  • Conduct regular reviews with TPM suppliers to understand supplier constraints, production schedules, and potential supply issues and their solutions

  • Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams to build an agile capacity plan, measure accuracy, and drive continuous improvement through the entire planning process

  • Manage the movement of materials to and from Third Party Manufacturers (TPM) suppliers through the use of the SAP MRP system

  • Perform regular maintenance of the SAP planning system to ensure all item level planning attributes are updated and troubleshoot/ root cause the system for inaccuracies

  • Initiate and participate in cost savings, inventory optimization, SKU rationalization, and other ad hoc opportunities

  • Assist in the development and tracking of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) as part of the supplier scorecard and performance management on a regular cadence

    What You’ll Need…

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or a related field, with 4+ years related experience preferred or

  • High school diploma or equivalent and 6 + year’s related work experience

  • CPG experience preferred, preferably within Food Manufacturing

  • Highly organized with attention to detail; analytical with strategic thinking skills

  • Must be able to collaborate in a cross-functional environment and have the ability to lead and influence others

  • Successfully work towards strict deadlines, as well as independently on multiple, simultaneous assignments

  • Able to demonstrate functional leadership capabilities

  • Capability to clearly communicate goals and objectives

  • Able to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions

  • Able to make effective and persuasive presentations on complex topics to the management team

  • Successfully work towards strict deadlines, as well as independently on multiple, simultaneous assignments

  • Able to effectively collaborate in a dynamic environment

  • Project management skills to drive processes and improvements to completion, with success in leading large/complex projectsAbove average experience using ERP/WMS systems (ex. SAP, Oracle)

    Pay: The annual base salary range for this hybrid-remote role is $75,000 - $110,000 . This is a salaried-exempt position.
