Northwest Bank Licensed Relationship Manager in Development/Financial Center Banker in Amherst, Ohio

Description As part of the Branch Banking team, the Financial Center Banker/Licensed Relationship Manager in Development will have or acquire an in-depth knowledge of Northwest products and services to provide financial options to clients through a consultative approach while expanding the banking relationship. The Financial Center Banker/LRM in Development connects customers with Northwest products and services, through opening accounts; as well as identifying customer financial needs. In this role, the incumbent will work in collaboration with other specialists (Financial Advisors, Mortgage Bankers, and Small Business) to connect customers to experts who can help with their needs all while ensuring an exceptional customer experience. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Employees who are not fully licensed at the time of hire will participate in the Licensed Relationship Manager (LRM) Development program. During this time, the employee will temporarily act as a Financial Center Banker until successfully completing the program and passing all required licensing exams. The expectation of the Development program is completion with in one (1) year Proactively acquire new clients, and deepen existing relationships, through outreach and preplanned appointments Engages customers as they enter the branch by welcoming them, including lobby leadership, checking on clients in waiting que to resolve customer issues or concerns and understanding their financial wellness goals Open new accounts and communicate with customers to recognize cross-selling opportunities and assist with mortgage, consumer loan, and credit card functions as needed while adhering to all bank policies and procedures Deliver on our Northwest culture experience to champion our customer's financial wellness through delivery of exceptional customer experience - proactively and reactively, both in person, over the phone, and through email communications Utilizing knowledge of Northwest technology, educates, and assists clients on the usage of self-service options such as leveraging the Northwest Mobile App, Northwest.com, and ATMs to complete their banking needs whenever, wherever, and however they want Complete educational training as assigned and self-educate using bank designed programs and applications Assist financial center management as needed with and completing Audit Certification requirements Participate in and occasionally facilitate morning huddles and end of day debriefs Complies with all Northwest policies and procedures, including without limitation, always acting professionally, conducting business ethically, avoiding conflicts of interest, and acting in the best interests of Northwest's clients and the Bank Ensure compliance with Northwest's policies and procedures, and Federal/State regulations Navigate Microsoft Office Software, computer applications, and software specific to the department in order to maximize technology tools and gain efficiency Work as part of a team Work with on-site equipment Responsible for adherence to all security and dual control processes, daily Financial Center tasks, and Financial Center opening and closing tasks as needed Complete other duties and special projects as requested by management KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: Ability to establish effective working relationships among team members and participate in solving problems and making decisions Ability to present and express ideas and information clearly and concisely in a manner appropriate to the audience, whether oral or written Ability to actively listen to what others are saying to achieve understanding, sharing information with others and facilitating the open exchange of ideas and information Ability to establish courses of action for self to accomplish specific goals, develop and use tracking systems for monitoring own work progress, and effectively use resou
