Description
We are seeking a Project Manager to join our team in the education sector, located in Northampton, Massachusetts. This role involves supporting various organizational and business facets of educational institutions, providing an opportunity for long-term contract employment.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee and manage various educational projects from inception to completion
• Implement and manage change initiatives within the organization
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success
• Handle responsibilities associated with the Project Management Office (PMO)
• Apply knowledge of educational institutions to enhance project outcomes
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and work plans
• Monitor and track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals
• Use project performance metrics to ensure ongoing alignment with project objectives
• Facilitate and lead effective project meetings, including the review of open issues and action items.
Requirements • Must possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in a related role, preferably in the education sector.
• Proficient in Change Management, able to effectively navigate and manage change within the organization.
• Demonstrated experience in Cross Functional Project Management, able to manage projects across different departments and teams.
• Experience in a Project Management Office (PMO), understanding the processes and methodologies used.
• Knowledge and experience in dealing with Educational Institutions, having an understanding of their structures and processes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to work effectively with different stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, able to address and resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities, able to guide and motivate a team.
• Excellent organizational skills, able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Should hold a relevant degree or equivalent qualification.
