Job Description:

Embark on a transformative role at The Ivy College of Business at Iowa State University, where you'll shape the future of education. We are seeking a proactive Learning and Development Specialist (Job profile: Learning and Development Specialist II) to join our dedicated team.

As our Learning and Development Specialist, you will optimize assessment systems to efficiently evaluate learning outcomes and foster continuous improvements across our graduate, undergraduate, and custom education programs. Collaborating closely with faculty and staff, you will leverage advanced classroom technology, learning management systems, and innovative recording tools to enhance teaching excellence throughout the Ivy College of Business.

Your role will also encompass coordinating forums, workshops, and educational programs enriching our teaching mission and supporting initiatives such as micro-credentials through ISU Online and CELT. Your analytical insight will be pivotal in achieving our strategic goals, including enhancing student retention, academic performance, and overall satisfaction with student services.

Level Guidelines• Intermediate-level position with solid professional and/or technical skills working under general supervision to achieve goals• Applies broad, working knowledge of the principles of the field to moderately complex, difficult, and varied problems and issues• Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action and resolve problems• Responds to a broad range of inquiries and requests• May provide training and/or direction to lower-level staff• May lead projects of moderate scope and complexity• Provides guidance to students
