​Here’s what you’ll be doing:

  • Creating estimates compliant with specific insurance company requirements.

  • Create lifetime customers by building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, insurance companies and co-workers.

  • Handle negotiations with insurance companies as needed.

  • Prepare and complete insurance claim forms indicating the repair or replacement cost estimates and provide customers with proper recommendations.

  • Calculate and provide an estimated cost for the specific repair needed on the vehicle and/or the estimate for the salvage value of the vehicle.

  • Performs a thorough check of the customers’ vehicle to assess all damage to the vehicle.

  • Review the estimates provided with a customer regarding cost of repair and replacement parts as needed.

Here’s what you’ll need:

  • 1 to 2 years of experience in a collision center as an Estimator

  • Knowledge regarding parts is preferred but not required

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills

  • Proficiency in collision center computer software systems are preferable

  • Valid in-state driver's license

  • High school diploma or the equivalent
