Insight Global IT Asset Manager in Alviso, California

Job Description

A leading financial technology company is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented IT Asset Manager to join our team. This role requires a hands-on approach to gather comprehensive information on company assets (hardware, software, data, etc.) across all business units. The IT Asset Manager will collaborate with technical teams, C-level executives, and other stakeholders to identify and document all asset-related information. The successful candidate will compile a detailed inventory of all assets within the organization, understand the functionality, processes, and criticality of each asset, and help establish a centralized database (using Google Sheets) to manage all company assets effectively.

Skills and Requirements

Strong understanding of IT hardware, software, and data management

Ability to assess and document the functionality, processes, and criticality of various assets

Ability to identify issues and develop effective solutions for asset management

Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders Familiar with Google environment (Sheets, AWS, etc)

Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques to interpret asset data and generate insights

Knowledge of cybersecurity principles to ensure asset management aligns with security policies

Skills in managing and implementing change within an organization, particularly in IT processes null
