Schedule: Full Time
Shift : Monday - Friday 3pm -11:30pm.
Location: Covering Orange, Seminole and Osceola County Area.
The role you’ll contribute:
Manages and schedules transportation routes. Evaluates metrics like fuel usage, delivery times, and attempts to reduce transportation costs. Implements contingency plans in case of transportation disruptions or emergencies. Coordinates with other teams for the smooth functioning of transportation.
The value you’ll bring to the team:
Develop, revise and implement policies, procedures, and guidelines for the administration of clinical and support services by Hospice of the Comforter clinical staff and support employed to provide hospice and palliative care to patients.
Responds to significant circumstances escalated by managers to provide guidance and leadership and interpret policy.
Coordinates with the Director of Corporate Responsibility and Quality to ensure quality care is provided while maintaining compliance with outside regulatory agencies.
Promotes standard of excellence in nursing practice and ensures that services are provided effectively and efficiently and the mission and vision of Hospice are fulfilled.
Develop, track and report on metrics and statistics for departmental activities. Evaluate cost effectiveness of services and implement policies to control expenses.
Makes recommendations to management for changes in organizational practices and policies to enhance service and efficiency and build census.
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed :
Minimum qualifications:
Master's Degree in Nursing, Health Care, or related field is required.
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted at the discretion of the Administrator.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in field of nursing including 2 years of hospital nursing or hospice/home health and 5 years of nursing supervisory experience
A clear/active Florida Registered Nurse license.
American Heart Association Basic Life Support Certification.
Maintain a current, valid Florida Driver's License in good standing with a safe driving record and a reliable vehicle.
Maintain valid personal automobile insurance.
