Synchrony AVP, UniFi Integration Coordinator in Altamonte Springs, Florida

Job Description:

Role Summary/Purpose:

The AVP, UniFi Integration Coordinator will lead client UniFi integrations. In addition to acting as a UniFi technical SME during integrations into client websites and point-of-sale systems, you will lead a direct report and serve as a UniFi expert on sales calls with existing and prospective clients. Strong influencing skills, prior experience leading client integrations as well as a collaborative approach to building relationships in a cross-functional team environment are essential. A successful candidate will also be expected to influence the ongoing evolution of the UniFi platform based on client feedback and their own experience with the product.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Actively engage in sales discussions (partnering with Business Development and Commercialization teams) as a technology and business process expert within the UniFi domain

  • Knowledge of current SYF and industry POS technology to identify appropriate solutions based on the client's needs

  • Work closely with the Go to Market team on end to end delivery of UniFi integrations.

  • Partner with client technology groups as the technical resource from the discovery phase through production rollout as they connect their websites and point-of-sale systems to UniFi

  • Analyze and provide solutions to client challenges during the integration process

  • Drive improvements to the processes and tools used by the team to drive greater efficiency and effectiveness

  • Remove roadblocks for the UniFi integration team

  • Capture voice of the client and formally submit feedback to UniFi train leaders and product development teams for continuous improvement and new capabilities and enhancements

  • Lead the execution of systems, integration, and user acceptance testing to support the roll-out of new features and functionality

  • Create and update UniFi integration documentation as new features are introduced.

  • Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of Technology experience or equivalent leadership program experience in developing and implementing information systems and project management OR In lieu of degree, a High School Diploma/GED and minimum of 8 years experience in Information Technology

  • Strong familiarity of modern web development technologies (including RESTful web services, Java, PHP, JavaScript, etc.)

  • High aptitude for client-facing soft skills, including both how to speak with a sales-oriented mindset and the ability to persuade resistant clients towards the best course of action for each individual situation

  • Demonstrated ability to lead people and manage performance.

  • Superior oral and written communication skills, as well as the ability to manage expectations of the business, clients, team members, management and external groups

  • Ability to drive continuous improvement and apply lessons learned on an ongoing basis

  • Strong analytical and technical skillset used to drive requirements, testing and production validation

  • Capability to communicate effectively with both business and technology teams and act as a bridge between the two worlds

Grade/Level: 10

The salary range for this position is 75,000.00 - 130,000.00 USD Annual and is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance.

Actual compensation offered within the posted salary range will be based upon work experience, skill level or knowledge.

Salaries are adjusted according to market in CA, NY Metro and Seattle.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • You must be 18 years or older

  • You must have a high school diploma or equivalent

  • You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the onboarding process

  • You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.

  • New hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles. Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the associate will have a minimum 6 months' time in position before they can post for future non-exempt roles. Employees, level 8 or greater, must have at least 18 months' time in position before they can post. All internal employees must consistently meet performance expectations and have approval from your manager to post (or the approval of your manager and HR if you don't meet the time in position or performance expectations).
