Description We are on the lookout for a Staff Accountant to join our team based in Alpharetta, Georgia. The Staff Accountant will be tasked with handling various accounting duties including account reconciliations, maintaining accurate records and finding efficiencies within the accounting processes.

Responsibilities:

• Handle various account reconciliations including balance sheet, prepaid, accruals, insurance, and undeposited funds. • Utilize strong Excel skills to manage financial data and create financial reports. • Stay adaptable and flexible, moving from task to task as necessary in a small team environment. • Exhibit a strong desire to learn and grow within the organization, displaying trainability and coachability. • Utilize NetSuite to manage financial tasks and streamline accounting processes. • Process and maintain general ledger and journal entries. • Undertake month-end close procedures. • Manage prepaid accounts, assets, and expenses. • Handle accruals and monthly accruals to ensure financial accuracy. • Continuously seek efficiencies in the accounting process to improve the function and accuracy of financial reporting Requirements Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required. • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounting role. • Proficiency in General Ledger and Journal Entries. • Demonstrable experience with Month End Close and NetSuite. • Solid understanding of Balance Sheet Account Reconciliation. • Familiarity with handling Prepaid Assets, Prepaid Expense • Experience in working with Accruals and Monthly Accruals. • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Strong understanding of financial and accounting principles. • Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks. • Excellent problem-solving skills.
