The Sr Payroll Representative performs payroll-related functions, including processing, tax compliance, review of automated timekeeping systems and payroll reporting in a multi-site, multi-state, high-volume environment. The Payroll Representative also provides exceptional customer service.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Performs payroll-related functions, including but not limited to payroll processing, file imports, audits, and maintenance in a timely manner. Payroll Processing Subject Matter Expert (SME)

• Develops and adheres to SSAE16 requirements and is accountable for compliance of each task performed

• Payroll Processing and UKG Pro SME and assist Manager/TL with escalations

• Leads Year End conversations and processes with customers and being SME for other Representatives/teams

• Leads and coordinates Quarter End and Open Enrollment assistance and task execution for customers

• Leads recurring customer calls and serves as point of contact for projects, tasks or issues

• Responsible for mentoring other Payroll Reps in Managed Services

• Builds strong partnerships with customers and provides exceptional customer service

• Proactively identifies areas of customer dissatisfaction and proposes/implements solutions after coordinating with Team Lead or Manager.

• Assist with special projects/business initiatives and new client implementations as requested.

• Promotes and inspires cross-team collaboration

*This is a hybrid role. The employee will be expected to work 3 days/week onsite at a US-based UKG office and WFH and 2 days. *

Basic Qualifications:

• 3+ Years of UKG Pro payroll processing experience

• Proven ability to analyze and resolve problems through effective customer service interface and communication

• Completed UMS Payroll Badge

• Proficient use of the Microsoft Office Suite of software (Outlook, Word, and Excel)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree or equivalent, 3 to 5 years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience

• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions

• Ability to deal effectively with a diverse set of individuals at all organizational levels

• FPC/CPP Certification

USA Pay Transparency:

The pay range for this position is $50,400 to $72,400, however, base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge and location. This position is also eligible for a short-term incentive and a long-term incentive as part of total compensation.
