The role.

Position Overview

This Internship is a 10-week program and is a pathway for future opportunities within Innomotics. This summer you will be challenged and grow a wider knowledge about the business, processes, people, and products of Innomotics . You will also gain exposure and be able to network across all areas of the service business segment. Upon completion of the internship, you will also have a key role in developing and shaping the future of the internship program.

You will have the opportunity to apply your skills to and focus within the Project Management discipline across one or more of the many areas of the service organization for Innomotics such as:

  • Sales & Marketing: Portfolio Management, Business Development, Digitalization, and Sales Support

  • Service Delivery: Project Management, Field Service, and Repair Operations for Motors, Drives, & Spindles

  • Quotation & Technical Support: Quotation, Booking, Finance, Order Management, and Engineering Support

Service for Innomotics is focused on innovation & service excellence and you will play a key part in driving those values. We are supporting the aftermarket sales & support of our motors, drives, and spindle systems in the United States as well as the rest of the world. Service has a broad range of roles & responsibilities that help deliver value to our customers.

Key Working Relationships: Each Innomotics intern will have a Program Mentor for the duration of the internship as well as a broad network of Innomotics employees. During the internship, a site-specific manager will be assigned to assure development and progress, with weekly and daily check-ins as appropriate. Routine interaction with senior service management is expected throughout the duration of the internship.

The pay range for this position is $25 per hour. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.

Your profile.

To Apply for the Project Management Internship - Service , candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Majors: Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering, Software Engineering, Business (with strong technical aptitude)

  • Graduation Date: Juniors/Rising Seniors with a graduation date by June 2026

  • Ability to work 40 hours per week from June to August of 2025

  • Minimum Cumulative GPA: 3.0

  • Relocation and Travel: Must be willing to relocate and travel. Must be willing to relocate to any of the potential internship locations: Atlanta GA, Cincinnati OH, Mentor, OH, Pittsburgh PA, or Kansas City, MO

  • Work Authorization: Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.

  • Methodical thought process with an entrepreneurial mindset

  • Effective communication, interpersonal, leadership, and presentation skills

  • Demonstrated skills in Engineering, Product Management, Project Management, Business Analytics, Microsoft Suite Software, Programming/Business Automation
