As a Product Support Engineer , you will be responsible for verifying, investigating and fixing product configurations, code bugs, user access, product functionality issues of one or more products within Decision Management Product Suite within SLA's. You will be responsible for supporting multiple applications after core release is delivered in all higher environments across multiple geographic cloud regions. Product Support Engineer will partner with other Product Support Engineers, developers, configuration managers, network engineers and stake holders to triage, troubleshoot and provide necessary resolution steps in above mentioned environments

What you will do Provide prompt and accurate feedback to business, stakeholders, with proactive communication Research, diagnose, troubleshoot and identify solutions to resolve customer reported issues which includes application architecture/security/infrastructure Follow the SLA for issues with respect to the severity Establish a strategy of continuous delivery risk management that enables proactive decisions and actions throughout the delivery life cycle Measure and improve delivery productivity for all P1 and P2 support engineers Participate in architecture, design, and code reviews with the software development teams Collaborate with other support engineers to plan and organize the development of our systems. Proactively identify issues within the system or within international BU operations and/or infrastructure, security concerns, data concerns, and create a remediation plan to solve the issue permanently Proactively creating tickets/escalation when needs are identified to correct recurrent issues with BU's; as well as modernize technology in application stack Support, Manage, Optimize and Monitor all profiles, rules, configuration, certificates and software licenses on all environments and take appropriate action in the event of non-compliance with security requirements Develop prototypes to prove out key design concepts and quantify technical constraints Work with the architects and development team to ensure proper metrics instrumentation done in software components

What experience you need BS degree in Computer Science or related technical field involving coding (e.g., physics or mathematics), or equivalent job experience required 5-7 years of administering software engineering experience Ability to write, debug, and troubleshoot code in mainstream Java, Springboot, TypeScript/JavaScript, HTML, CSS Manage/Run and develop cloud-native solutions Manage/Run and development of big data processing solutions using Dataflow/Apache Beam, Bigtable, BigQuery, PubSub, GCS, Composer/Airflow, and others Manage/Run and development of micro services using Java, Springboot, GCP SDKs, GKE/Kubernetes Deploy and release software using Jenkins CI/CD pipelines, understand infrastructure-as-code concepts, Helm Charts, and Terraform constructs Experience in troubleshooting, monitoring infrastructure and application uptime and availability to ensure functional and performance objectives. Demonstrable cross-functional knowledge with systems, storage, networking, security and databases Cloud Certification Strongly Preferred

What could set you apart Ability to verify issues by testing in higher environments, be on-call support for Production Incidents as needed. Should be able to understand development code for debugging purposes when needed. Familiarity with support ticketing system and SLA's

This position is based in Atlanta. This resource should be local to Atlanta and will be required to work from of the following Equifax office locations - Alpharetta

To adhere to our Return To Office (RTO) weekly onsite requirements, Equifax has a hybrid work schedule that allows for 2 days of remote work (Monday and Friday), with 3 days onsite (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) each and every week.
