What is it that we do at Colonial Pipeline Company?

Colonial Pipeline is the largest refined products pipeline in the United States, transporting more than 100 million gallons or 2.5 million barrels per day. Colonial transports various grades of gasoline, diesel fuel, home heating oil, jet fuel, and fuels for the U.S. military through a pipeline system. Colonial transports approximately 45 percent of all fuel consumed on the East Coast, providing refined products to more than 50 million Americans.

About the Manager Central Maintenance Program Position

As the Manager, Central Maintenance Program you will lead a centralized team to develop strategies and identify efficiencies in support of operational continuity and servicing the needs of the entire system. In this role you will collaborate with appropriate stakeholders to track projects/maintenance and appropriate timing of execution, while ensuring that all necessary resources are available for use. The Manager Central Maintenance Program will be responsible and accountable for having a full understanding of the service needs while ensuring proper documentation and communication company wide.

What You Get to Do:

  • Develop strategies to effectively manage system wide maintenance (planned and unplanned) to optimize product movement.

  • Coordinate with all necessary stakeholders to prioritize repair efforts for components critical to operations.

  • Support development, review, and revision of Equipment Maintenance Procedures and critical inventory list.

  • Provide subject matter expert and liaison support for Maximo and various teams including Product Scheduling, Planning & Utilization, Engineering, Asset Integrity, Field Operations and Maintenance, Supply Chain, and Technology.

  • Advise Leadership of efficiency opportunities by identifying and communicating improvements to the planning and execution of maintenance projects.

  • Lead the Central Maintenance team to promote and ensure development of employees.

  • Develop and communicate vision and mission for the Central Maintenance Team to support the leadership direction of the organization.

What You Bring to the Table:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field from an accredited college or university; will consider a combination of experience and/or education.

  • Ideally 5+ years of experience in pipeline maintenance or 7+ years of experience in pipeline operations.

  • Strong knowledge of maintenance methodologies, safety regulations, and project/financial management.

  • Ability to negotiate, delegate, and build cross functional relationships.

  • Commitment to consistently adhere to policies and procedures and be a positive example for others by demonstrating the Company’s core values of Respect, Accountability, Innovation, Safety, and Excellence in completing work assignments.

  • Self-motivated, have phenomenal work ethic, and looking for the right company to support your growth.

  • Ideally 10+ years of pipeline experience with 2 years of leadership experience.
