CompuCom Data Center Service Delivery Manager - Alpharetta and Atlanta GA location in Alpharetta, Georgia
The Service Delivery Manager owns the delivery relationship for one or more customers. They will be directly accountable for all Delivery services (shared, remote and/or dedicated) and Delivery cost to the Customer Executive. This individual will also represent and be accountable for all Delivery services such as New Solutions, Account Expansion, Projects, Transitions/Transformations, implementation of new services and operations, as well as all associated account management services (e.g., SLAs, CSATs, Cost, Forecast, reporting, trends) to the assigned Customer Executives.
This SDM owns delivery of the overall support for our Hosting and Compute support for our customer and will be the day-to-day face to the customer from a Compucom perspective.
This SDM will have US and International resources reporting to him/her for this agreement and oversight with additional managers which includes 4 onsite and 22 remote. There are also 28 India based resources. This role will also own delivery for global dispatch support utilizing strategic partners for non-North America locations.
Work is onsite and split between Alpharetta and Atlanta GA locations
The qualified candidate will have Data Center experience
Responsibilities
Strong communication/interpersonal and leadership skills.
Will be the site-level team lead, for the Service Provider resources. Their duties will include workload management, scheduling, and oversight for the Service Provider resource team.
Interface with cleint staff on a daily basis, so strong communication skills are a must.
Provide regular report outs to internal and external stakeholders, including metric reviews.
Responsible for all builds, decommissions and capacity management within the respective site.
Qualifications
Must have Data center planning experience including:
+5 years’ management experience required.
Capacity Management: Knowledge of preferred device placement practices
Knowledge about power systems / constraints / best practices
Strong analytical skills.
Knowledge of cabling best practices
Capable of executing physical workload (as needed)
Managing to SLA’s or SLO’s
Must also be highly efficient with speaking, reading, and writing fluid English.
Must be able to travel to additional data centers in US to provide staffing support as needed.
