Sharp Electronics Corporation Associate Visual Solutions Specialist in Alpharetta, Georgia

Overview

The Associate Visual Solutions Specialist assists in generating and coordinating commercial Pro AV sales opportunities at a Sharp Business Systems branch. Our Pro AV solutions often utilize Sharp interactive displays, commercial monitors, digital signage, and video walls.

The Associate Visual Solutions Specialist conducts pre and post sales assessments, training, coordination of installation and delivery resources associated with creating successful Pro AV project outcomes for our clients.

Responsibilities

  • Work with SBS sales staff to develop leads into opportunities to close monthly

  • Leverage new and developed relationships to open the door to targeted prospective clients

  • Establish a pipeline of referral opportunities from satisfied clients

  • Demonstrate collaboration equipment and complete solutions to prospective clients

  • Participate in SBS prospect events, sales presentations, vendor partner “Lunch and Learn” presentations, and account review process

  • Assist in managing implementation of AV solutions

  • Assist in coordination of Pro AV projects to ensure timely installation, scope, budget, quality, safety, and customer satisfaction outcomes

  • Perform training for clients and SBS staff as needed

  • Contribute to the branch achievement of monthly, quarterly, and fiscal sales activity goals

Qualifications

  • Basic background and knowledge of Pro AV products and solutions required

  • Ability to work independently, be self-directed, and interact with clients, fellow employees, and vendors in a professional manner.

  • Sales experience preferred, technical aptitude and competitive nature

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written

  • Must be computer literate (MS Office suite) understand sales reporting, tracking and reporting of critical data, and familiar with maintaining a sales contact data base

  • Must be able to travel locally including driving 2+ hours on occasion to remote SBS Branches or client sites.

  • The role requires 50% field work / client visits / site surveys / technical calls and 50% office work / proposals / training / rep engagement / client visits and demos

  • Strong understanding of display solutions, with creative vision relative to digital signage.

  • Enterprise selling skills at senior levels.

  • Solutions oriented, complex problem solving.

  • Proficient in performing detailed business and account analysis.

  • Solid interpersonal communication skills.

  • Strong written and oral communication skills.

  • Experience creating and assisting in delivery of professional sales presentations.

  • Self-motivated and comfortable working with little to no direction.Experience working with key decisions makers (senior level managers).

Compensation for this position

The compensation range for this role is $XX- $XX. The listed salary range or contractual rate excludes bonuses, incentives, differential pay, and any other forms of compensation or benefits. The starting salary will be determined by several variables, including but not limited to experience, education, training, certification, and location. You may also be eligible to receive an annual discretionary incentive award, commissions, and program-specific awards, which are subject to the rules governing these programs.
