Job Title: Packaging Technician

Job Description

Join our team as a Packaging Technician and contribute to the high standards of manufacturing pharmaceutical products. This role involves manual or automated assembly, filling, packaging, and labeling of pharmaceutical products, ensuring adherence to specifications and quality standards. You will apply Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and customer requirements in all areas of responsibility. Additionally, you will perform in-process and AQL inspections, participate in start up and closure of packaging jobs, and maintain cleanliness of packaging rooms and machinery in accordance with SOPs and GMP. The role also includes computer-related tasks for job sign-ins, in-process actions, and data entry, as well as performing counts of components and drug products. The position operates on the 1st Shift from 06:45 AM to 2:45 PM with a pay rate of $17.00/hr.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Allentown, Pennsylvania.

Work Environment

This role requires working in a freezer environment and adherence to strict clean room protocols that require gowning. Personal Protective Equipment Certification (PPE) is required, including filtering face masks, PAPR, N-95 masks, half-face masks, and safety glasses. Additional compensation is provided for working in specific controlled environments: $2 extra on base pay for every hour worked with PAPR/Refrigerator, and $3 extra on base pay for every hour worked in the Freezer.
