Millipore Material Control Clerk in Allentown, Pennsylvania

The Material Control Clerk will perform all duties necessary to receive, store, issue and package raw materials and assembled equipment in the storeroom area. Daily responsibilities include: Wrap, package, weigh, stencil and label materials and packagingCount and collect materials using a pick list and deliver to manufacturing area, including transferring material to manufacturing, office, and cleanroom pass-throughCount inventory, package products and complete transactions in SAP and enter information in software systems

Physical Attributes:

Work in a cleanroom work environment and wear PPE such as a cleanroom hair cover, face cover, cleanroom smock with Latex or Nitrile glovesUp to 1 hour of sitting and performing transactions and data entry at a computerLift up to 40 lbs. and transfer weight at waist or knee heightVertical lift of 30 lbs. to any height Push and pull 200lb metal boxes on wheelsStand and kneel on ergonomic mats over concreteStep up on one step, lean over a tilting lift tableFull range of motion with arms and legsSafe use of hand tools including hammers, saws, pneumatic stapler, and pneumatic nail gun

Who You Are:

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED

Preferred Qualifications:

SAP/ERP, FedEx software, PC operation including Microsoft Office experience1+ year of experience with fork trucks or hand trucksPrior experience with a 2-part chemical packaging foam dispenser1+ year of experience interpreting and following written and verbal work instructionsSelf-starter, motivatedGood written and verbal communication skillsWorks well in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentFollows safety and process controlsWorks well with changing priorities and tasks RSREMD
