Maintenance Tech I

$7,000 sign on bonus - Night Shift

C - Night Shift; 2/2/3 schedule 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM

The Maintenance Technician I at Keurig Dr Pepper will be responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and improving process and packaging equipment, to maximize production and maintain Keurig Dr Pepper’s high standards in safety and quality. This role will also be engaged in improving maintenance procedures and manufacturing processes for the improvement of safety, quality, delivery, cost and culture.

  • Training and building self-capability to independently perform required maintenance tasks

  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment, always demonstrating safe behaviors.

  • Focus on Good Manufacturing and Food Safety practices in all work.

  • Analyze mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, or electrical problems and make repairs through adjustments, defective parts replacement, or fabrication.

  • Perform preventative maintenance tasks as assigned.

  • Teach basic mechanical skills to line operators to support autonomous maintenance, TPM functions, equipment set-up and center lining.

  • Complete size changeovers and troubleshoot liquid fillers and packaging equipment.

  • Identify root causes of mechanical and electrical failures and resolve with effective problem-solving tools with minimal downtime or supervision.

  • Generate productivity and continuous improvement ideas.

  • Utilize SAP CMMS to complete work.

Total Rewards

• Pay starting at $31.31 per hour. The employee will move to a higher rate of $32.96 per hour in the quarter after their 6-month anniversary. $2/hr

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred

  • Formal technical training certificate preferred

  • 1 year prior maintenance experience in a manufacaturing environment is required

  • Experience working in a production facility

  • Must be flexible with work shift

  • Ability to have a good relationship with others, be punctual, and follow instructions.

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a frequent

  • Has his or her own tools
