Buckeye Partners is currently seeking an IT Project Manager, Contractor with extensive IT project management experience in the Oil & Gas Industry to join our team! Contractor, Hybrid-Schedule: Applicants must be available during Eastern Time Zone (EST) Work Hours (9:00am EST - 5:00pm EST) and be available to work in Allentown, PA or Houston, TX up to 3 days a week. The IT Project Manager, Contractor role is responsible for delivering IT projects with a standardized approach defined by the IT PMO Framework. The role will assist in identification, prioritization, and successfully execute projects within the technology portfolio. Project Management. Documenting project requirements, assisting project initiation deliverables, securing project funding, assisting with project planning deliverables, conducting project kickoff, completing the execution phase of the project (managing the project task tracking, issues tracking, test planning and execution and project communication plan execution), controlling, updating, and reporting project financials, ensuring compliance to control measures, managing the vendor deliverables, purchase orders, work orders, and appropriate systems and planning and managing project completion, transition to support, and project closure. Project Administration. Tracking and updating status on key project milestones, activities, and schedules, preparing project documentation, and conducting project kick-off, maintaining appropriate systems and project information in required tools. As well as communicating project status to project team, stakeholders, sponsors, and IT management. Training and Communication. Conduct Training and Communication strategies and integrate findings into a comprehensive project plan utilizing the IT PMO toolkit, project management framework, and change management framework. Project Governance. Working with PMO Manager to conduct Project Audits during closure of projects and tracking and updating monthly financials on assigned projects. Key Responsibilities: Project Management: Creates and Maintains Project Plans, documentation, and reporting. Change Management: Facilitates the completion of the Impact and Success Analysis Project Financials: Manages project financials, including scope, baseline, and forecasts management, and accurately reports through appropriate financial reporting systems. Communications and Training: Integrates Communication and Training strategies into Project Planning Project Awareness and Feedback: Support all levels of awareness and adoption through surveys, interviews, and feedback loops. Adoption and Implementation: Supports and Facilitates Training activities including facilitation of Training and Job Aid creations. Strategic Alignment and advocacy: Champions and understands the vision and purpose of a project. Stakeholder and Engagement Analysis: Identifies stakehol ers and assesses organizational readiness. Position Requirements: Bachelor's degree required. 5+ years managing small to moderate projects (Projects typically less than $650,000). Experience managing teams of internal resources, customer, and vendor relationships. Demonstrated strong written and oral communication and presentation skills. Experience working cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees to maximize performance, creativity, problem solving and results. PMP Certification - Preferred Ability to travel up to 20% domestically.
