Join Jack Henry’s 10-week summer internship and dive into building innovative fintech solutions that make a real difference. You’ll sharpen your skills, grow your network, and collaborate with leaders shaping the future of the industry. Your work will help break down barriers to financial health in communities. With hands-on projects, valuable mentorship, and exposure to executive leaders, this is where you’ll grow, learn, and drive impactful change.

We are part of an Agile train within JH, comprising 10 distinct teams. Our team consists of 10 skilled and collaborative professionals who excel in a supportive, fast-paced environment. Our guiding principle is to deliver a wide range of microservices that support comprehensive Lending and Deposits banking solutions. We focus on developing microservices that facilitate the translation and boarding of consumer and loan data into the JH core systems. You will actively engage in API development and testing, utilizing cutting-edge technologies to drive innovation.

This role is looking for an August or December 2025 college graduate.

Program Details

Duration: June 2 – August 8, 2025

Location: Allen, Tx

Pay: $25.00/hour

What you’ll be responsible for:

  • Development of microservices and REST APIs using C#, Golang, Google Spanner, and various .NET Core and GCP technologies.

  • Active participation in SAFe Agile Scrum processes, including review and refinement meetings.

  • Hands-on coding experience with C#/Golang and .NET Core to deliver high-quality solutions.

    What you’ll need to have:

  • Enrolled at an accredited university.

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related Engineering discipline.

  • Have a graduation date of August or December 2025.

  • Ability to work 40 hours per week throughout the duration of the internship program (June 2- August 8, 2025).

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. on a permanent basis without the need for sponsorship from Jack Henry.

    What would be nice for you to have:

  • Academic or working experience with Microservice Architecture, C# or other Object-Oriented Programming languages, Golang, SQL Server or any relational database systems, Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or alternative cloud architectures, Postman and .NET Core.

  • A basic understanding of SAFe/Agile methodologies and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

  • A passion and excitement for cross-collaboration and group work.

    • An enthusiastic learner with a passion for exploration and a love for fun.
