Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Software Engineer to join our client's Powertrain Software Release team. This role is focused on delivering user-friendly features to meet business demand. The Software Engineer is expected to be skilled in Java, JavaScript, and CSS. They will employ test driven development (TDD) based on proven Agile/Scrum framework. The Software Engineer will work in a lean, cross-functional, co-located, and Hybrid team. The Software Engineer will collaborate with Product Manager, Business customers, and Corporate IT to ensure delivery with quality at market speed.

• Develop database objects including stored procedures, functions, troubleshoots issues using SQL

• Good knowledge in multi-threaded applications and SOAP /REST web services

• Porting experience from Legacy technologies

Skills and Requirements

* 6+ years of Java development experience on Spring Boot framework with REST standards

o 60-70% backend, 40-30% frontend

* 3+ years of experience with Angular, Javascript, and CSS

* Must have experience migrating servers and/or applications

* Basic knowledge on ASP classic .NET

* Experience with relational database development such as MS SQL Server/Oracle

* Deployment and development experience on development, QA, production environment

* Experience with TDD/BDD null
