Description:
Position Purpose
The Dietary Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Dietary Department, ensuring meal preparation and housekeeping services are delivered to participants with high quality and efficiency.
What You Will Do
Lead by example, demonstrating the Mission, Vision, and Values of Trinity Health PACE.
Ensure meal plans meet dietary and health needs by following physician orders and nutritional guidelines.
Supervise and support dietary aides to ensure smooth kitchen and dining operations.
Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the kitchen and dining areas.
Manage department budgets, track expenses, and provide regular cost reports.
Foster collaborative relationships with team members and other departments.
Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
Minimal Qualifications
High school diploma (Associate's Degree preferred).
2+ years of experience in quantity food preparation, preferably in healthcare or hospitality.
1+ year of experience working with the elderly or frail population.
ServSafe Certification (or ability to obtain within 1–3 months).
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
