General Job Description

:

In addition to trade specific duties, the foreman will lead

a crew, conduct tailgate safety meetings to plan the day's work with th

eir crew, and ensure the safe, timely and professional completion of assigned job tasks. The foreman will complete all necessary paperwork for the day

, including a foreman timecard, safety meeting log, daily site inspection log, and any job specific logs that the day's work requires.

The foreman

will be responsible for seeing that the overall work site is clean and neat at the end

of the day, and that all small tools are accounted for. The foreman will ensure that tools and equipment are properly stored and put away at the end of the workday. The foreman will report to the on-site manager at the close of each

workday to turn in daily reports, timecards, and other logs or paperwork as is required for job specific tasks. (Trenching and excavation forms when excavating, etc.) the foreman is a

Cost effective communication and scheduling of concrete placements. Cleaning and maintenance of all related tools and equipment and general housekeeping. Handling hazardous materials.
