CALLING ALL BANK TELLERS IN ALBUQUERQUE!

We are on the lookout for a dedicated Branch/Retail Banking Clerk to bolster our operations in Albuquerque, New Mexico. You will be tasked with a variety of roles, including cash checks processing, customer deposits and loan payments handling, night drop deposits and merchant deposits processing from courier. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity and involves comprehensive banking services and customer service skills. This role is paying up to $25/hr depending on experience. Duties include the following:

• Cash checks and accept customer deposits and loan payments.

• Process night drop deposits and merchant deposits from courier.

• Balance and maintain cash drawer.

• Assist in balancing vault and cash shipments.

• Assist customers with safety deposit box entry.

• Assist with internet banking set-ups and maintenance.

• Assist with debit card maintenance and ordering new cards.

• Cross-train on opening new deposit accounts

• Provide excellent customer service and maintain a high level of professionalism at all times.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Required Qualifications (includes education, skills and experience): The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

• Minimum high school graduate, or equivalent

• Minimum of 1-2 years banking experience

• 1-3 years cash handling experience

• 2-3 years customer service experience

• Experience in opening new accounts in a financial institution setting is required
