Lockheed Martin Systems Administrator, Sr / DevOps / PLM / Remote in Albuquerque, New Mexico

This Systems Administrator role sits within the DevSecOps COE organization on the Model Based Enterprise (MBE) Enablement team and supports the One Lockheed Martin Transformation (1LMX) Model Based Enterprise (MBE) vision, particularly the Concept to Product, Issue to Complete and Design to Sustain value streams. This role will support the Enterprise Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system and Enterprise Part Registry. In this role, you will be responsible for the following:

• Working with the MBE Enablement Agile Product team and functional stakeholders to implement IT solutions, meeting functional requirements and provide ongoing operations & maintenance of the delivered products.

• Setting up administrator and service accounts

• Maintaining system documentation

• Tuning system/environment performance

• Installing system-wide software

• Allocating mass storage space

• Interacting with users and evaluates vendor products

• Making recommendations to software, coordinates configuration, installation and provides backup recovery

• Developing and monitoring policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources

The ideal the candidate has 5+ years of experience in configuring and maintaining essential IT infrastructure, including operating systems, security tools, applications, servers, email systems and software

This is a full-time telecommuting position open to any US based location.

Basic Qualifications:

• Proficiency with at least one relational DB (PostgreSQL, SQLServer, MySQL, etc.)

• Experience in enterprise backup and recovery procedures such as disaster recovery: backups and restores of virtual machines, databases, and network equipment and Knowledge of system security (e.g. intrusion detection systems)

• Experience on Agile development programs. (Jira, VersionOne)

• Experience delivering software solutions that meet identified business needs using an industry leading PLM platform (ie. Dassault 3DX, PTC Windchill, Siemens TeamCenter)

• Familiarity with CI/CD and infrastructure as code and Infrastructure automation tools

• Expertise in analyzing and repairing large-scale distributed systems; creating volumes and assigning them to servers; and remote replication

• Experience in applying updates and patches

• Experience in performing server administration tasks (ex: user/group, security permissions, group policies, print services), researching event-log warnings and errors, and monitoring resources to ensure that systems architecture components work together seamlessly

• US Citizenship is required for this role due to Defense Systems access requirement

Desired Skills:

• Experience with various flavors of Linux (RHEL, CentOS) or MS Windows Server (2012 R2, 2016, Nano) environments and the ability to build, configure, and maintain via Command Line Interface (CLI)

• Experience with or knowledge of programming languages (Java), systems performance-monitoring tools, active directories, virtualization, HTTP traffic, content delivery, and caching

• Experience incorporating authentication standards and security protocols: OAuth, SAML, TLS, etc.

• Experience in configuration and deployment of applications using Openshift/Kubernetes

• Experience supporting a high performing virtual team and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

• Self-motivated learner, active learner, driven, strong problem solver

• Extensive hands-on experience with cloud technologies, Amazon Web Services preferred, but other cloud platforms such as OpenStack and others are relevant as well

Ability to Work Remotely: Full-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work remotely full time at a location other than a Lockheed Martin designated office/job site. Employees may travel to a Lockheed Martin office for periodic meetings.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week

Pay Rate:

The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $90,200 - $170,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

Pay Rate:

The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, or Washington is $78,500 - $150,400 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.
