Bridgers & Paxton Consulting Engineers, Inc. System Administrator in Albuquerque, New Mexico

We have an exciting opportunity for a Systems Administrator to join our team in our Albuquerque office.  

The qualified applicant will be able to demonstrate an ability to maintain a medium sized network that spans multiple offices in a collaborative environment of engineers within Bridgers & Paxton.

Certifications demonstrating knowledge or a specialization, in the systems/programs listed below is a plus however it is not a requirement. 

In this position, the ideal candidate will have significant working experience with the following applications and services:

Microsoft Windows Server Management and Administration.

  • Active Directory Services and Management, Including: DHCP, DNS, Bitlocker, Group Policy, PKI Services, etc.

  • Windows File Server Management (Mapped Drives, Permissions (ACLs/SACLs), Folder Structures & Security Auditing)

  • HyperV Administration (Performance, Best Practices, Security, Data Safety)

  • Network Administration - Physically and Logical (Routing, VLANs, Network Infrastructure)

  • Foritnet Products (Firewalls, Analysis, Best Practices)

  • Storage Systems (SANs, iSCSI, Best Practices, Performance & Maintenance)

  • Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM) / System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM)

  • Application Deployment and Packaging

  • System Imaging and Deployment (PXE, DHCP)

  • Powershell and Powershell usage related to the above modules (AD, MSGraph, etc.)

  • Microsoft 365 Administration

  • Two Factor Authentication

  • Documentation Creation (Technical Writing, Instructional Documentation)

  • NIST 800-171 R2 & R3 Compliance (Policies & Procedures, Documentation, Change tracking)
