**[Objective:

*[As[ a Quality Assurance/Quality Control Technician (QA/QC) our ideal candidate will be monitoring a variety of processes to ensure that the regulatory guidelines (USDA, FDA) are met. They will also be responsible for ensuring that the foods produced at Aliyas Foods meet the companys high standards for safe, high quality food -- ensuring a great experience for our customers. QA techs report to the QA Manager and work closely with the QA Supervisor, other QA technicians, the production team, and the shipping and receiving teams to uphold all GMP and SOP standards. This will involve quantitative and qualitative measurements, product sampling as well as inspection of materials, equipment, and the production facility. Production process observation will also be required to monitor compliance.

  • 2-4 year Post secondary course work in Food Science, Microbiology, Food Technology, or related field.
  • Proficient in Microsoft software (Excel, Word, Office, etc.).
  • Proficient in data collection, entry, and reporting.
  • Is comfortable with computers and learning different software.
  • Good understanding of Quality and Food Safety programs and document control.
  • Experience with GMP requirements.
  • General to good understanding of HACCP programs
  • Is a team player that can work with others and is willing to follow directions.
  • Is independent and self-motivated.
  • Can work with flexible schedule in fast paced environment.
  • Is proactive and assertive to seek compliance.
  • English- Spanish Bilingual preferred.

Reports to QA Manager

Equipment calibration

Plant, equipment, and ingredient inspections to ensure food quality and safety standards are met

[Sampling, testing, evaluation, and swabbing of equipment, packaging materials, ingredients, water, air, and others before, during, and after production, including but not limited to:]{calibri",sans-serif"=""}

Pre-operation checks after sanitation and report deficiencies.

Sanitation onsite verifications monthly (2md or 3^rd^ shift)
