MIG Structural Welder for Manufacturing Shop

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Structural Welder to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the production and fabrication of structural steel components for commercial buildings. Your expertise in MIG welding and ability to read blueprints and weld symbols will be crucial to ensuring the quality and accuracy of our architectural pieces. This is NOT Ironwork, but manufacturing and production welding.

Weld test required.

Essential Skills

  • 1+ year of experience welding in a structural manufacturing environment.

  • Proficiency in MIG welding.

  • Ability to read blueprints and weld symbols.

  • Accurate measurement skills with a tape measure.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • AWS D1.1 certification is preferred.

  • Experience with grinding and fabricating is a plus.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Albuquerque, New Mexico.

The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $18.00
