We are now accepting applications for the President Harry S. Truman Postdoctoral Fellowship (in National Security Science and Engineering). The Truman Fellowship is one of Sandia National Labs' most prestigious post-doctoral fellowship with up to two recipients each year. The Truman Fellowship provides an opportunity for recipients to pursue independent research that supports Sandia's national security mission. Qualifications We Require:

• PhD conferred within the past three years or completion of PhD requirements by commencement of appointment (10/1/2025)

• Development and submission of a compelling research proposal in areas meaningful to national security: biological sciences; earth, energy and environmental science; engineering sciences; materials and advanced manufacturing; math, computing and information science, nanodevices and microsystems; physical sciences; and radiation effects and high energy density sciences.

• Ability to acquire and maintain a DOE security clearance, which requires US citizenship

• Interviews are tentatively planned for the week of January 20, 2025

Security Clearance:
