Ebon Solar LLC Construction Project Manager in Albuquerque, New Mexico

Our first manufacturing facility in the Mesa del Sol area of Albuquerque, New Mexico, is a greenfield project central to our mission to drive sustainable energy solutions and lead the solar industry. *[Position Overview: [We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Construction Project Manager to lead and oversee the construction and operational setup of our new solar cell manufacturing facility. This role is crucial in ensuring the successful execution of the project from inception to completion on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams, contractors, and stakeholders to achieve project goals. *This is a local recruitment position for an onsite role; no relocation assistance will be provided.

  • Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans including scope, objectives, timelines, resources, and budget. Ensure alignment with business objectives and strategic goals.
  • Project Execution: Lead the execution of the project, managing all phases including design, construction, commissioning, and operational setup. Ensure adherence to project plans and schedules.
  • Team Leadership: Assemble and lead a high-performing project team. Provide guidance, support, and motivation to team members. Foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Stakeholder Management: Communicate effectively with all stakeholders including internal teams, contractors, suppliers, and regulatory agencies. Address concerns and provide regular project updates.
  • Liaison with International Teams: Coordinate with technical and design teams in both China and the United States to ensure seamless integration and collaboration across all project phases.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies. Proactively address issues to minimize impact on project timelines and outcomes.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all project deliverables meet quality standards and regulatory requirements. Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance.
  • Budget Management: Monitor project budgets and control costs. Ensure that financial resources are allocated efficiently and expenditures are tracked accurately.
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed project documentation including plans, reports, correspondence, and contracts. Ensure all records are accurate and up to date.

Bachelors degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. PMP certification or equivalent is highly desirable.

Minimum of 7 years of project management experience with at least 3 years in a senior role, preferably in preferably in building manufacturing facilities.

Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale construction projects from inception to completion.

Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.

Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
