CNC Machinist Wanted!

Job Description

CNC Machinist will utilize company equipment in a very well organized shop. You will operate machines and program to produce machine parts used for aerospace and defense. The ideal candidate will work with machines up to 5 axis and will have experience with tolerances and quality. Machines include Mills, Lathes, and Prototypes. This role requires the ability to set up machines and load programs.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machines and program them to produce aerospace and defense parts.

• Work with machines up to 5 axis.

• Ensure precision and quality by adhering to tolerances.

• Set up and load programs on machines.

• Read and interpret blueprints.

• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Essential Skills

• Experience with CNC machine operation.

• Programming experience with Mastercam.

• Proficiency in using Mills and Lathes.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

• Experience with machine setup and loading programs.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to read job specifications and understand machining terminology and procedures.

• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds without carrying aids (size and shape of items may alter requirements).

• Ability to work in a production shop environment without endangering self or others.

• Ability to stand or sit for long periods to complete tasks assigned.

This position is based out of ALBUQUERQUE, New Mexico.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $38.00
