Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper/Administrative Assistant to manage our bookkeeping functions and provide administrative support. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of QuickBooks, ensure accurate financial entries, produce financial reports, manage timely payments, handle collections, and assist with human resource tasks such as posting job openings and screening candidates. Key Responsibilities: Bookkeeping: Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks. Ensure all financial entries are correctly categorized to the appropriate expense accounts. Produce and analyze basic financial reports for management, ensuring accuracy and clarity. Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections. Reconcile bank statements and bookkeeping ledgers. Administrative Support: Assist with human resource functions, including posting job openings in internal software and screening candidates. Conduct initial screening interviews to assess candidate qualifications. Maintain organized records and files, both electronic and physical. Perform general office duties as needed. Qualifications: Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and financial reporting. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks. Experience in collections and understanding of collections procedures. Familiarity with human resource functions is a plus. High level of accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to work independently in a remote setting. Salary: $20 - $23 per hour, based on experience
