Description

Our client, a personal injury law firm in Albuquerque is in search of a Pre-Litigation Paralegal with strong organizational skills. In this role, you will be expected to manage pre-litigation personal injury cases, with a focus on providing excellent service and maintaining high standards of case management for 50+ cases. Your linguistic skills in Spanish will be highly advantageous in this role. This is an in-office role.

Responsibilities:

• Handle pre-litigation personal injury cases effectively and efficiently

• Employ case management software to organize and track case details

• Use Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Excel for document creation and data management

• Perform billing functions and complaint handling as part of case administration

• Utilize LexisNexis for legal research and briefing tasks

• Manage calendars to ensure timely completion of tasks and deadlines

• Handle claim administration duties related to personal injury plaintiffs

• Communicate with clients and other parties in Spanish, if necessary.

Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Paralegal.

• Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Excel.

• Experience with Case Management Software and Management System.

• Familiarity with LexisNexis.

• Ability to handle Billing Functions.

• Experience in Briefing.

• Proficient in Calendar Management.

• Experience in Claim Administration and Complaint Handling.

• Experience with Personal Injury Plaintiffs.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

• Ability to work independently and in a team.

• High attention to detail.

• Problem-solving abilities.

• Willingness to continue learning and improving skills.
