GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION

Assist with development, set-up, take-down, and clean-up of AMITT lab(s). Assemble equipment as directed by the program head or Dean. Prep materials for use by students. Assist with lab activities in class as needed. Report problems to the program head or Dean.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

• Be a current or former student in the program that uses the lab
  • OR
• Have equivalent work experience
• Be recommended by the program head, lab manager, or Dean.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Assist with bolting, drilling, erect, or welding on equipment.
• Keep the work area clean during assembly.
• Assist with development, set-up, take-down, and clean-up of AMITT lab(s).
• Assemble equipment as directed by the program head or Dean.
• Prep materials for use by students.
• Report problems to the program head or Dean.

OTHER DUTIES

• Provide and/or facilitate quality experiences in laboratory and/or clinical settings to meet program needs.
• Report any safety issues or maintenance needs in the Collision Repair and Refinishing Technology area to the AVP, Dean, or the CE Coordinator/Faculty Associate, AMIT.
