Position Summary

Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. is seeking a Strategic Account Manager. Join our team and work with world-class products and teams. Contribute to the growth of our ImmunoDiagnostics Division by maintaining and expanding our customer base, executing sales strategies flawlessly, and helping us make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer. Covering the upstate NY market and all of PA. Must live in the territory.

Job Responsibilities

  • Successfully implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets within your assigned territory.

  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with key decision-makers in Reference, Hospital, and Health System Laboratory accounts.

  • Drive the adoption of IDD's innovative diagnostic instruments and solutions, optimizing laboratory efficiency and patient outcomes.

  • Collaborate with internal teams, including Regional Managers, Business Development Executives, Strategic Account Executives, and Technical Sales Specialists, to deliver comprehensive customer support and value.

  • Conduct regular Customer Business Reviews to ensure customer happiness and identify growth opportunities.

  • Champion the use of IDD's assays, providing clinical insights and support to improve customer operations.

  • Lead initiatives to defend against competitors and achieve prescribed growth objectives.

  • Ensure strict compliance with corporate policies and regulatory standards.

Requirements/Qualifications

  • B.S./B.A. in Life Sciences, Business, or a related field.

  • 5 plus years of senior-level sales experience in Diagnostics or Medical Device Sales strongly preferred

  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a matrix environment with various collaborators.

  • Outstanding strategic selling skills and a focus on results.

  • Ability to lead without authority and drive team success.

  • Strong understanding of the US healthcare market dynamics.

  • Dedication to corporate compliance and ethical standards.

This position does not offer relocation assistance; candidates must reside within the sales area, preferably near a major airport.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range estimated for this position based in Pennsylvania is $65,000.00–$100,000.00.

This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that our U.S. colleagues and their families can count on, which includes:
