UNIVERSAL Technologies is seeking a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Developer with extensive experience in supporting and modernizing application platforms for a hybrid position in Albany, NY. Candidates must be able to work onsite 50% of the time, though this is preferred, not required. Applicants must be eligible to work for any employer in the USA.

Position:

The Microsoft Dynamics 365 Developer will be responsible for supporting an existing application platform and contributing to modernization enhancements. The role involves understanding the operational and IT needs of OPWDD/ITS, designing, developing, and configuring software, apps, and custom solutions using Microsoft Dynamics. The Developer will also be involved in integrating new enhancements with current systems, testing developments through deployments, managing change/release cycles, and providing ongoing maintenance and support. Additionally, the Developer will create documentation for the current system and any patches applied, and offer extended support for any post-deployment issues.

  JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s Degree.

• Minimum of 16 years of experience, or an equivalent combination of advanced education, training, and experience.

• Experience programming in Microsoft Dynamics 365, including knowledge of programming languages, integration tools, data modeling, web services, UI/UX design, and data visualization.

• Fluency in Cloud Technologies and a solid understanding of web security.

  PREFERRED CREDENTIALS/CERTIFICATIONS:

• 5+ years of experience working in a Microsoft Dynamics 365 environment.

• Extensive experience with SQL databases.

• Testing and troubleshooting experience.

  JOB DUTIES:

• Assess needs and develop solutions for OPWDD/ITS by designing, developing, and configuring software, apps, and custom solutions using Microsoft Dynamics.

• Understand and facilitate communication between organizational systems and integrate new enhancements with current systems.

• Provide testing support through deployments and manage change/release cycles.
