Description:
A. Conduct comprehensive market research on other state Medicaid Enterprise Systems (MES) module strategy as they relate to eMedNY subsystems.
B. Identify and evaluate MES modules implemented by other states, focusing on effectiveness, challenges, and relevance to New York State.
C. Develop detailed Market Research Reports to inform the eMedNY modernization strategy.
D. Collaborate in drafting the eMedNY technology modernization strategy based on findings from the Market Research Report.
E. Define modular components within eMedNY that can be extracted and prioritized for implementation.
F. Integrate input from working sessions with DOH into the modularization strategy, ensuring it aligns with CMS vision and federal requirements.
G. Document the finalized modularization strategy and integrate it into the MES Roadmap.
H. Develop procurement strategies for eMedNY transformation, leveraging insights from the Market Research Report.
I. Identify and document potential procurement alternatives and their alignment with CMS vision and federal requirements.
J. Integrate input from working sessions with DOH to refine procurement alternatives.
K. Assist in development of Roadmap that summarize strategies
L. Experience in developing procurement strategies for large-scale IT projects within the public sector.
M. Familiarity with federal and state procurement guidelines and best practices, particularly within the healthcare domain.
N. Ability to identify and document various procurement alternatives, including innovative approaches and solutions.
O. Experience in facilitating working sessions to review and refine procurement strategies with stakeholders.
P. Experience in developing and maintaining project documentation, including reports, strategies, and roadmaps.
Q. Effective communication skills to keep stakeholders informed and engaged throughout the project lifecycle.
R. In-depth understanding of healthcare IT systems, specifically those related to Medicaid and public health programs.
S. Familiarity with the regulatory environment governing healthcare IT and Medicaid systems.
T. Experience in assessing and recommending technologies that align with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $100.00/hr.
