Rachel Miller is partnering with a Large Agency in the Capital District on a Licensed Insurance Agent Position. Are you a high-energy, sales-oriented insurance professional? We are seeking a Property & Casualty (P& C) Licensed Insurance Sales Associate to join our team!

Position Overview: As a licensed insurance sales agent, you will use your sales expertise to quote and sell insurance policies. You will engage with potential customers through inbound and outbound calls, qualifying leads, explaining features, and assisting with the insurance enrollment process. This role requires adherence to carrier, state, and company guidelines, particularly for doing business in New York.

Key Responsibilities:

• Proactively assist customers with the insurance application process.

• Ensure compliance with carrier, state, and company guidelines.

• Respond to customer inquiries promptly and professionally.

• Clearly explain features, advantages, and disadvantages of policies to match customers with the right insurance.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers through excellent service.

• Communicate effectively to overcome customer objections and close sales.

• Cross-sell insurance products, identify sales leads, and make outbound calls to finalize sales.

• Accurately enter and maintain call data for reporting purposes.

Requirements

Requirements:

• Active Property & Casualty (P& C) license.

• Proven sales and customer service experience.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work in compliance with state, carrier, and company regulations.

• Familiarity with doing business in New York preferred.
