Job Title: Install Technician
Job Description
We are looking for an enthusiastic candidate with entry-level experience in electrical or HVAC to join our team of installers. Responsible for assisting in the installation and support of company material for semiconductor tools at client sites such as Global Foundries. This role involves installing heat trace material on process lines such as vacuum pipes, exhaust, and gas lines connected to tools in Fab 42.
Responsibilities
Install wrapping of heat trace material on process lines.
Install semiconductor equipment tools.
Run wiring and troubleshoot basic electrical issues.
Inspect the application of insulating tape over heat trace material.
Troubleshoot and start-up product installations.
Work in confined spaces and at heights.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
1 year of technical related experience or mechanical equipment assembly.
Electrical aptitude (installation or troubleshooting experience with electrical components).
Ability to work in confined spaces.
Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
OSHA 10 certification (We can reimburse you for the course if you do not already have one).

Work Environment
Work hours are Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm, with a lunch break from 11:00am to 11:30am. The role involves working in industrial semiconductor facilities that support microchip production, including sites in NY Creates in Albany, GlobalFoundries in Malta, with potential overnight stays (no weekend travel) at sites in Syracuse and Vermont.
