Clearview Packaging Customer Service Rep in Albany, New York

Department: SalesReports to: VP Sales & MarketingThe Customer Service Representative is a full-time hourly position responsible for assisting the Sales Department, entering customer orders, and maintaining customer relationships.Essential functions and job fundamentals:· Handle customer inquiries via phone, fax, email, IM· Process quotations· Process customer orders· Process customer returns and rejections· Keep sales department aware of order status changes· Gather and submit detailed product and business information for pricing, manufacturing capability, and specification development· Follow all plant safety rules· Maintain product sample files· Filing - quotes, completed work orders· Maintain customer inventory spreadsheets· Attend and participate in meetings, seminars, trade shows or related functions· Participate in quality, continuous improvement, and other related activities as needed· Must meet attendance requirements. Attendance is critical to this position.Requirements/Prerequisites:· 2-4 years Customer Service experience for custom manufacturing· Strong Computer Skills - Excel, Word, Access, Visual MFG· Support food safety, quality, and environmental programs; comply with requirements, and report any food safety issues to personnel with authority to initiate action.· Good oral and written communication skills· Ability to interface directly with customersThis job description is not all encompassing so employees are required to perform other duties, tasks, and functions that are not stated above as requested by their supervisor.Job Type: Full-timePay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hourExpected hours: 40 per week
