Credentialing Assistant – Medical Administration – Albany, NY - FT

What you will do:
Assist Credentialing Specialist with ensuring that all Physicians are insured and credentialed.
Responsibilities:
Updating provider profiles
Filing/Scanning documents
Updated CAQH
Maintaining insurance records for the provider.
What you will need:
High School diploma / GED required
Associates Degree in Business or Health Care Administration preferred
Must possess effective interpersonal and communications skills, including tact and diplomacy.
Proficiency in office management, workflow processing, and computer skills are essential.
High level of organizational skills, flexibility, and the ability to maintain complete confidentiality.
The ability to problem solve cooperatively and independently, along with a professional demeanor are essential.
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks required.
Ability to lift 20 lbs.
Pay Range: $19.20-$25.58
Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
