Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated individual to join our clients team in the Capital Region as a Bookkeeper. In this role, you will assist with maintaining accurate financial records, managing routine accounting tasks, and supporting the finance team. Key Responsibilities:

• Record day-to-day financial transactions and ensure accuracy in data entry.

• Reconcile bank accounts and monitor cash flow.

• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice management and payment tracking.

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial reports, spreadsheets, and records.

• Process payroll and track employee time, as needed.

• Support monthly and year-end financial close activities.

• Maintain organized and secure filing systems for financial documents.

• Assist with tax preparation and other compliance-related tasks.

• Communicate effectively with team members, vendors, and clients regarding financial matters.

  Requirements

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (associate's degree or relevant coursework in accounting preferred).

• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel; experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) is a plus.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and responsibilities.
