The Headlines *:  *

In the role ofVP and Plant Manager working in Albany, GA,you willberesponsible for managing, planning, directing and leading all aspects of the operations and enabling activities in a diverse, high-speed production/manufacturing environment with a potential capacity in excess of 5 million barrels per year. To develop and implement short- and long-term strategies, in line with Integrated Supply Chain Strategies and the World Class Supply Chain that will optimize performance in the areas of safety, human resources, quality assurance, customer service, cost control, production, engineering, product development and sustainability.This position reports totheVP Manufacturing Operations.

The Responsibilities: _ _

  • Most importantly, you will lead a team oftalented colleagues andsupport their growth and development through career discussions and consistent one on one conversations.

  • Leads and manages the Brewery Organization to safely maximize efficiencies, capacity, flexibility and productivity aligned to quality and customer service requirements. Utilizes WCSC processes to achieve or exceed phase targets. Responsible for the development and delivery of the brewery long-range plan, capital plan and annual operating plan in support of the overall network.

  • Responsible for creating a winning culture, building and developing a strong leadership team, leading change initiatives and removing barriers to build a world class brewery organization through exemplary leadership practices and the engagement of a diverse workforce across all levels. Ensures the application of robust people/development management practices, creating space for effective coaching and communications, recognizing the right behaviors & outputs throughout the brewery organization. Effectively represents the interests of the entire brewery network and the enterprise when participating in or building effective strategic partnerships internally and externally.

  • Responsible for ensuring that all safety, health, environmental, quality, cost and reliability standards are met for the Brewery and driving conformance to federal and state laws and regulations. Implements and maintains systems to audit performance and to check compliance with these rules and a responsibility to support employees in meeting these operating standards both directly (through coaching, training, daily management systems, resources etc.) and indirectly (by developing a balanced approach to implementation of WCSC practices).

  • Create and communicate a vision (Compelling Business Need) which aligns Brewery Strategy to the overarching ISC andWCSC strategy and is used as the basis for long range plant, equipment, facilities, and human resources planning and execution using WCSC processes to deliver long term brewery performance.

  • Contributes operational, business and industry expertise to enterprise-wide initiatives to improve overall business performance.

  • Demonstrates leadership maturity with humility, confidence and courage. Exhibits political and organizational awareness.

  • Fosters an inclusive environment, encourages and respects different people, approaches and ideas.

  • This roleacts as the key representative of Molson Coors in the local community

  • The position will provide Operations input to develop and update fixed/variable operating budgets; manage facilities to maintain fiscal control of operating costs and preserve physical/human assets.

  • Facilitate and ensure proper resourcing for the development and maintenance of capital budgets for the facility, to include concept development, economic analysis, and inter-divisional communications to secure funding.

  • Maintain the facilities in a manner that meets or exceeds all company and regulatory safety, environmental and sanitation requirements.

  • Establish objectives and priorities for subordinates, which are complimentary to brewery and company objectives. Manage performance of salaried and hourly staff; recruit new personnel as required.

  • Ensure robust development plans are in place to ensure continued progress and development of future leaders of the organization.

  • Role model behaviors that support and exhibit our Critical Success Factors and identified Core Competencies for the role.

  • Demonstrated leadership and management experience at strategic level.

  • You have a bachelor’s degree inBA/BS in Business or Technical Field.

  • Minimum of 10+ years of manufacturing experience.
