Job Title: Electrical Engineer - Facilities

Location: Holloman AFB, NM (On-Site)

Canvas is seeking a Electrical Engineer to support the 704th Test Support Squadron on the TMAS II contract at Holloman AFB! This position is to provide assistance and advisory services to the DoD.

Duties:

  • Develop and manage new construction projects, improve existing infrastructure, write statements of work, develop independent government estimates, perform surveillance over contractors, and program UMMC ($4M-9M) and MILCON ($9M+) projects.

  • Support a perpetual 3- to 5-year strategic Financial Plan to execute a $2.5B FY26-31 funding surge, District Plan projects, and $300M/$1.5B Test Track projects with 30+ new facilities.

  • Manage interior electric, exterior electric, transformers, ground stations, transmission lines, and other repairs for 280 facilities.

  • Adhere tightly to established schedules.

    Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline and up to 3 years of relevant experience; Master's degree desired.

  • Must be familiar with facility infrastructure needs of a DoD Installation.

  • Knowledgeable of building codes applicable to DoD facilities.

  • Familiarity with MILCON requirements.

  • Ability to learn and adapt quickly.

  • Possess excellent communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.

  • 3-5 years of experience, a portion of which involved work at an AF Installation desired.

  • Knowledge of test facilities desired.

    Security Clearance: Must have and be able to maintain a Secret security clearance.

    Other Essential Job Functions: Candidate may be required to work other than normal duty hours, which may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
