The Routing and Logistics Systems Analyst drives the continuous improvement of all Mobile logistics software. Most importantly, the incumbent will configure the Salesforce Field Services (SFFS) environment, ensuring it is configured to optimize routes, enable efficient order flow, and streamline technician's mobile workflow application. This role is the subject matter expert (SME) on the SFFS environment and is responsible for creating a highly automated efficient planning/execution flow for Goodyear's fleet of vans.

Primary Responsibilities: I-JK1

  • Software Optimization and Configuration

  • Continuously optimize/configure SFFS and ancillary software to drive labor/route efficiency

  • Primary owner of "network design" polygons/zip lists to optimize the geographic consumer availability of Mobile Services on Goodyear.com

  • Run modeling simulations to test and propose network adjustments or route optimization strategies within SFFS

  • Advance the SFFS workflow application by analyzing data, review field operations usage, and solicit feedback from field operations

  • Enable interdepartmental opportunities to streamline operations within Consumer, Retail, and supporting Call Center teams

  • Daily Production Support and Uptime

  • Lead production troubleshooting efforts inside of SFFS, working closely with Manager Network Design and Route Optimization

  • Partner with IT to support bug-fixes, troubleshooting, and software upgrades

  • Own SFFS enhancement and bug fix priority list, aligning with Information Technology (IT), Mobile Manager, and General Manager of Product and Experience

  • Primary lead on all items SFFS while in constant collaboration with General Manager and Manager of Consumer Experience

  • Analytics and Supply Chain Enablement

  • Enable analytics inside/outside of SFFS environment working closely with Logistics Analysts, IT, and Business Insights

  • Develop internal SFFS analysis and reporting capabilities, as guided by Mobile Management to work with Logistics Analysts

  • Create reports to drive SFFS configuration of drive times and stop times to recommend systems adjustments to Mobile Management

  • Work with IT to lead/support implementation of inbound supply chain improvements

  • Training and Support for Field Operations

  • Work with the Logistics Analyst and Mobile Support teams to hold SFFS field training for upgrades or configuration changes

  • Act as a conduit between Mobile Field Operations and Mobile Central Management to capture software feedback and suggestions from Operations

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics or Supply Chain or in lieu of degree 5 years of experience utilizing logistics software in last mile route optimization

  • Previous experience utilizing logistics software in the last mile space (specifically in Salesforce Field Services, Omnitracs, Descartes, Cheetah, RoadNet, etc.)

  • Previous experience with mobile workflow applications including task completion, navigation, signature capture, payment, etc.

Desired Skills and Abilities:

  • Master's degree in Logistics or Supply Chain

  • Strong software and production transportation planning systems knowledge

  • Logistics, route optimization, and mobile workflow app configuration skills

  • Attentive listener with a desire to optimize systems for workforce

  • Strong oral and written communication ability

  • Innovator and activator to bring new system production software processes to life

  • Able to work in a results-oriented, fast-paced environment as part of a team

  • Self-starter willing to take initiative and able to work without constant direct supervision
