Maintenance Technician / Industrial Machinery (2nd and 3rd Shift) - Akron, Ohio - JOB 25-00976 Salary Range: $30.00 - $35.00/HR Permanent Position with Benefits 2nd and 3rd shifts available: Second shift is 2pm - 10pm / Third shift is 10pm - 6am / 2 weekends a month. Well established Akron, Ohio area Company seeks an experienced Machine Maintenance Technician who is capable of both mechanical and electrical machine repair. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Allen Bradley / Rockwell PLC Programming, Program Modification and Machine Start-up. REQUIREMENTS: • Associate degree, Bachelor Degree and /or Technical School Certificate / Diploma and a minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience maintaining the mechanical and electrical systems found in industrial manufacturing machinery / equipment. • Candidate must be capable of reading and understanding electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, mechanical blueprints, and technical installation and repair manuals. • Candidate should be familiar with Allen Bradley / Rockwell PLC39 to include installing software, program modification and machinery start-up. • Candidate must have a complete understanding of electrical systems to include AC/DC, motors, servos, wiring, conduits and the use of electrical / electronic meters for troubleshooting. • Candidate is responsible for performing Preventative Maintenance, mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and repair to include creating documentation as to the repair / replacement part issue and notifying upper management as to the likely cause of equipment failures. • The Ideal Candidate would have experience working on industrial equipment, production machinery, conveyor systems, mixers, and blenders, motors, and drives, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
